Sue and John Spencer set up the Living Design gallery in April 2006 with two thoughts in mind. Firstly to provide local artists with a permanent place to show their work. And secondly to give people in Albox and the surrounding areas a central place to see and buy this work.

The gallery is an Aladdins cave of wonderful one-off pieces ranging from high quality art such as Sue’s own colourful contemporary pieces. View atmospheric paintings using reclaimed materials as well as photos and charcoal drawings of local scenes by Laura Davies.

If jewellery is your thing then what better than to have Jules create a unique piece just for you, or dazzle with a bespoke piece of sterling silver jewellery by Rosemary Millar. Also Chris Stott, master wood turner, creates amazing pieces from local olive wood.

Sue and John also source hand made soap with wonderful fragrances, good quality candles, and eco friendly beach bags and shoppers in jute or eco cotton. Try the wide range of incense or aromatherapy oils always in stock. They are always on the lookout for new and unusual handcrafted gifts so there is always something new in store.

The list of gift and interiors ideas goes on and on so the best thing to do is come along and see for yourself. And with prices starting as low as 25 Euros for an original piece of art or just 5 Euros for a hand crafted gift you really can afford to indulge.
